ABOUT
Sage is a guide and ally in expanding consciousness and integrating ancient healing arts with modern science. Her path is devoted to supporting seekers in awakening to who they are, reclaiming their lives, unlocking their potential, and empowering a new era on this planet.
Meet Sage -
Sage’s initiation into supporting consciousness evolution began through transcendental meditation as a teenager and in her early twenties when she was seeking healing for mental disturbance and severe chronic Lyme disease. For over a decade, she has studied the transpersonal: meditation, shamanic cosmologies and healing, depth psychology, and consciousness. Her approach is in deep reverence for our resilience and radically trusting in life’s initiations as an education for awakening to our essence. Through the alchemy of inner-reconciliation, we become medicine for the collective and stewards of the mystical.
Sage has apprenticed and worked with many indigenous healers in their ancestral lands. Over the past seven years, she has spent a great deal of time living with a respected Shipibo Onanya and his family to learn the sacred art of chanting. Through the nonprofit AWE, she intensively studied indigenous healing with a transpersonal and depth ecological lens under Lila Vega and leading experts in the field. Sage received a BS in Global Business and International Affairs from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a MA in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She previously managed and led consciousness expansive retreats at a healing center in Nosara, Costa Rica, and has been facilitating international retreats for over seven years.
Sage’s work brings together modern trauma resolution science and spiritual healing informed by trainings in Systemic Constellations, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Conscious-Connected Breathwork, the Holotropic Paradigm, Axiatonal Alignment, and Ecopsychology.
With the preservation of indigenous wisdom close to her heart, she is in the process of founding a nonprofit, CAYA Fund, dedicated to supporting indigenous agency, sustainability of their ancestral lands, and healing scholarships. “CAYA” in Shipibo resonates with the word Spirit. Caya is the thread that weaves the essence within each individual to the plants, the collective, the cosmos - everything within the fabric of this life. Our prayer is to the Caya in All. A percentage of all ILUMINA offerings are tithed back to our teachers.
ILUMINA’s Intention -
to empower those sensing there’s more to life to lead with awareness and live with depth.
